Get your AI office running

Two short steps: 1. set up your office on a server, 2. give your team access to shared files. About 15 minutes. You'll need a Linux VPS and the license key from your purchase email.

1 Set up your office

You do this once, as the owner. Pick whichever is easier — both end the same way.

Option A — Desktop installer Windows · no terminal recommended

  1. Download & open the installer.
    Download for Windows Windows shows a one-time "Windows protected your PC" notice for new apps — click More info → Run anyway. That's expected (the app isn't code-signed yet).
  2. On first launch, choose "Set up a new OfficeForge box on my server".
  3. Enter your VPS IP address, login and password, then paste your license key. Click Install.
  4. Wait while it installs everything (~10–20 min). Leave the window open.
  5. When it finishes you'll see all your links and passwords. Save the password — it's shown once.

Option B — One command in your server's terminal Mac / Linux · any OS

If you'd rather not run a desktop app, SSH into your VPS and run:

curl -fsSL https://officeforge.co/install.sh | sudo bash

A short wizard asks a few questions and for your license key, then brings the office up.

Then finish setup in chat — no terminal.

Open your Operator console and type "finish setup" to the AI coder. It walks you through the last bits — your company description, your own AI key, Telegram, team members — in plain chat.

2 Give your team access to files

Your people drop work into shared folders the agents can see. The network drive needs no app at all and works on Windows and Mac.

In the Operator console → Sync tab, type a teammate's name and Generate access. You get a URL + login + password and a one-click connector.

Want an offline copy that keeps a local folder in sync? Install the desktop client, choose "Only the sync client", paste the pair link, and pick a folder.

Don't have a server yet?

OfficeForge runs on your own VPS. Get a Linux box with Ubuntu, at least 8 GB RAM, 4 CPUs and 60 GB disk (16 GB / 8 CPU recommended) — the full stack (Docker + Plane + agents) needs it; 4 GB is not enough and will run out of memory. Note its IP, root login and password, then start at step 1. No domain needed — we give you a free *.officeforge.co address; or point your own.

Your AI model key (bring your own)

OfficeForge uses your own LLM key — you pay the provider directly, we don't resell tokens. Get a key from one of these and paste it during setup:
